With a talk by Dave Hamilton, author of Weird Guide

Everyone is welcome to join us at our 2026 AGM, to hear about our progress over the past year and our plans for the coming months.

We’ll start with the usual AGM stuff, covering our finances and a report from the chair Rich Ackroyd on our progress over the last year. There will be a bar run by Frome Town Council and a chance to ask questions informally before we begin.

Following on from the technicalities, we’ll have a talk by local author Dave Hamilton on his latest book, Weird Guide. The guide showcases 300 weird and wonderful paces to visit in the UK, including baffling ancient sites, peculiar landscapes, relics of our industrial past, post-modern oddities and some mind-bending art. It’s a delightful and inspiring guide to our weird country, and the talk will be a wonderful way to hear how it came together. And of course, you’ll be able to buy the book on the night.
