Sustrans Ecologist (Lydia Blake) will be holding a hedge laying workday at Great Elm (Collier’s Way) on 31 January 2019. Anyone is welcome to come and try their hand at hedge laying in the North Somerset style. It will take place between 10am – 4pm with a lunch break, but people are free to leave early. The picture below shows the location.
This workday will be considered to be a success if it were to lead to one or two new Wildlife Volunteers who want to work regularly to improve the ecology of the Colliers’ Way (Greenway Project). If you are attending please email Lydia Blake (Sustrans Ecologist) as indicated in the poster.”
