We are delighted to report we’ve been able to re-schedule the visit from Laura Laker, author of Potholes and Pavements: A Bumpy Ride on Britain’s National Cycle Network. She’ll now be with us on Friday 6th September. The event will be at Frome Town Hall (in the Council Chamber) as before, doors open from 7pm.

See the event page for more information and to purchase tickets (£5 each).

Also, summer has been a busy time for volunteers, who have to put in many hours to maintain the path and kept usable for the many walkers, runners and riders using it every day.

This month, our volunteers have spent two of the Friday Club sessions clearing the Feltham Lane path that takes Sustrans route 24 out of Frome towards Longleat and another two sessions clearing the path to Tytherington which leads from the bypass (opposite Little Keyford Lane) to Tytherington. It’s not part of our route, but is an important connection for those walking or riding out from Frome to the quiet lanes of Tytherington or Trudoxhill.

Let us know at mail@fromesmissinglinks.org.uk if you’d like to get involved in any of the work we do.
